Please note: As of 1 Jan. 2007 there will be a new requirement for people returning to the U.S. from a foreign country to have a valid passport.

  1. Upon arrival at Marsh Harbour Airport, take a taxi to the grocery, bakery and liquor stores. Your taxi driver will wait while you shop. Provisions are also available in Hope Town for restocking during your stay. Some grocery stores in Marsh Harbour are open on Sunday. Most of the stores are closed during holidays.

  2. We are located on the south tip of Lubbers Quarters Cay. There is a sign at the end of our dock (Watercolours) and the tops of our pilings are white. When you arrive at the boat rental dock, they can help you with directions to Watercolours. Remind them to call us on the VHF Channel 09 when you are departing from their dock.

  3. These are items you should bring with you: 2 flashlights, fishing gear, snorkel, masks, flippers; windbreakers and light sweaters are needed in the winter months. There is a radio and CD player in each cottage so bring music if you like. The cottages are also equipped with VHF radios.

  4. US currency and travelers checks are accepted everywhere. Visa Cards and American Express are accepted in some restaurants, shops and fuel stations, but please ask first.

  5. A passport or birth certificate and proper picture ID (driver's license, etc.) are required to enter through Customs in the Bahamas. Passports are required to return to the U.S.A. starting Jan. 2007.

  6. The cottages come with fully equipped kitchens, gas grills, linens, towels, toilet paper and garbage bags. We furnish 2 bath towels and one wash cloth per guest and one set of linens for each bed. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BEACH TOWELS.

  7. There is internet access available at our deck on the water, so bring your laptop.

  8. Check in time is 3:00 PM and check out time is 10:00 AM. If you arrive before check in time and the cleaning has not been completed we have a place to store luggage while you explore, go to lunch or hit the beach!

  9. PLEASE BE SURE YOU HAVE RESERVED YOUR RENTAL BOAT AND MADE FLIGHT RESERVATIONS AND SEND US THAT INFORMATION.
